About The Breeder Hi! I'm Mr. Collymore, but you can call me P.C. I'm not a world-renound breeder or anything. I just love fish! Ever since I was a little snack bar growing up back in beautiful Barbados, my family had always had an aquarium full of freshwater fish. As a matter of fact, we favored the aquarium over the TV as our entertainment alot of times. I've kept livebearers and eggbearers. Wild mollies and guppies, swordtails and platties, karp and tilapia....... and then came Veiltailed Siamese Fighter Fish, or Betta Splendens. I was able to spawn a number of pairs but no success in getting them to reach adulthood. (audience goes "awwwwww! LOOOOOOOSERRRRR!" lol). After getting married and moving to the United States I had a cppl more bettas but then the cat ate one of my favorite ones and I was so upset and annoyed i quit keeping bettas. For a while I kept only guppies, goldfish and convict cichlids, and i even had 2 gold lyretail killifish. Then, the wife gets me a surprize gift in the form of a chocolate veiltail male. That did it! From then, I was scouring the internet looking for any and all information about correctly caring for bettas. While searching, I saw so many tail forms and colorations that sparked my interest. I was immediately drawn to the dragon colorations and hard-to-maintain colors like pure black and purple. After joining Ultimatebettas.com, the BettaBreeders forum, BettaZone forum, and Bettas4all.nl, I was able to get in contact with many seasoned betta breeders and aquire some show-quality genetics. What's New 10/19/2010 SPLENDEN LOGOS "N"SIGS IS CLOSED
Due to recent developments, today will be the last day that Splenden Logos 'n' Sigs operates. I will be operating from my main base at CompletelyCreativePCFL.yolasite.com, and all art will be subject to the same costs as my commercial art services from now on. To all those to whom I've committed to the old art/trade option PRIOR to this day, you need not fret or worry. It only applies to orders after today.
09/26/2010 The Black line is currently under reconstruction. FINALLY I have tracked down a very essential ingredient to the color equasion. But, as any serious breeder will tell you, FORM TRUMPS COLOR. That will improve with time.
09/23/2010 RELOADED AND READY Just when I thought my lines were doomed after this winter's and summer's disasters, It looks like we'll be able to pull out of the station again. 3 spawns so far and maybe if I get the blacks going again, that will be it for the year. PROGRESS WHITE LINE: Last F3 female outcrossed to Dragon BLACK LINE: Last F2 female feared to be infertile. Will try new male to make sure as soon as he's settled in. MARBLED DRAGON: Finally off the ground today NEW! VT DEMO: Got some fry. Now we wait.......
